I honestly do surprise myself each time I draw non-MGS related fanart. xD
I've become an Uncharted (2) fan for the last few months. I drew this several weeks back for the
F#$!YEAHUNCHARTED fanart contest.
I've been meaning to draw Nathan Drake for a while now, I just couldn't resist!
The idea was just initially Nate eating a donut as a reference to the "Donut Drake" joke, but then it evolved into....this. He's uh...supposed to be looking at his stomach while eating the donut...wondering if it just went straight to his gut... LOL. Not quite sure if I pulled that off successfully.
Why did I draw him like that? I think of Nate as a very human character, and I like that about him. As much as he was a someone who was always so sure of himself, I saw that he too had his own little insecurities (ie., "You don't think they're a couple, do you? They're not a couple."). I suppose that was the reason why the drawing turned into this: I personally find it easy to imagine him a little affected by Flynn's comment...Oh yeah. I noticed late that I forgot Nate's watch DX....but I couldn't be bothered to fix it.
