Haha. Yeah, those are the only parts I really like about this pic. I've never colored metal in my life, so I think I did a pretty good job for a first time.

Often, it's hard to maintain the dynamics of a drawing from the sketch stage until completion. In which said process tend to decrease the dynamics as it's getting completed.
I suppose that's really because sketching and colouring, etc. are very different. One may be a good sketcher though may not be as good in other fields.

To evade from it recurring as often, I think it's best that you don't repeat a drawing.. We get bored easily, and that may be the cause that one does worser everytime one repeats.

Yes, you can definitely do better.. Maybe just not in the mood. It'll get better I assure you.

Yes, I totally agree with you. After repeating it many times, I wasn't in the mood anymore. The quality suffered. D:

Originally , the picture was around her hip and up, and the hair had more... flow to it. Then I redrew it because the spear won't fit.
Then I colored it, then when I was applying a watercolor background, the paper tore. So I redrew it again, fixed the spear again.
